This is a single page app for finding what stat distributions are possible with Destiny 2's Armor 3.0 (released with Edge of Fate).
It tells you what armor archetype (primary + secondary stats) and tertiary stats to achieve particular stat distributions.
It assumes that all armor pieces are of the highest quality for the selected tier.
T5 armor always has a 30/25/20 stat distribution, but lower tier armor is normally a ~6 point range. This tool always assumes that you're getting the best roll possible (ex: 63 total stats for T2).
This tool is for finding potential, not actual, armor outfits. I have no plans to enhance this to login and access your vault. That's what DIM is for.
This tool was created as a fun project to explore potential armor 3.0 potential rolls. It is not affiliated with Bungie or Destiny 2.
We also do not care about particular armor slots (Helmet, Gauntlets, etc), just the archetypes necessary to achieve a build.
Known Limitations
Only considers stat distributions, not actual armor piece availability in your vault.
Only uses +10 point mods. +5 point mods also exist, but are not modeled.
Assumes all armor is fully masterworked.
T5 armor has a tuning slot.
It assumes the "Balanced Tuning" +3 tuning mod (which adds 1 point to each of the non-Primary/Secondary/Tertiary stats) is picked. Giving you 6 points in the 3 lowest stats when fully masterworked.
There is no way to target farm tuning slots and there are 720 (6 archetypes * 4 tertiary stats * 6 tuning stats * 5 armor slots) possible drops.
It's easy enough to mentally tell yourself you could theoretically get a stat up by 25 points and nerf Health from 30 down to 5 if desired
Subclass fragments offer some +10 and -10/-20 impacts. The app ignores subclass fragment impacts.
Font mods can give +20/+40/+50 to any stat when you've got an armor charge. This is currently ignored.
All pre-Armor 3.0 potential rolls are ignored, this is purely for figuring out Armor 3.0 possibilities.
UI Affordances
Double clicking on a slider will toggle it between the maximum valid value for that slider and zero.
The sliders can be dragged to sort priority for which stats are shown for the 10 example outfits.
All control changes will update the URL so you should be able to bookmark/copy the link to save and share them.
